RotaCloud has grown so big that we felt the need to bring someone in to take care of all the little things we'd either been neglecting or muddling our way through for the past five years.
And by 'the little things', we mean legitimately important things — things like liaising with other tech companies, organising events, and getting us ready for appearances at enormous trade shows...
Thankfully, this is exactly what our new office administrator, Gemma, excels at.
Having worked for a number of leading supply chain and logistics companies, and managed HR processes for thousands of employees at a time, Gemma has a wealth of HR and administrative experience under her belt. She loves to solve problems for people, and even started up her own virtual assistant and admin service, she's so keen on getting teams organised.
Originally from Manchester, Gemma moved to God's Own Country a couple of years ago for love. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and baking, and is passionate about upcycling, recycling, and the rapidly growing zero-waste movement.
Gemma is also obsessed with all things vintage. As well as being able to ballroom dance, she collects old issues of British Vogue, and currently has around 15 years' worth of them — some from as far back as the 1950s!
